The film, all but unknown to scholars and film historians, has been found in the Heath Library at Helversheim University, where it was found in a battered tin simply labelled 'NEPENTHE'. Discovered by G.A. Engel, Professor Emeritus of Media Arts and Film History, the film is an adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft's short story 'The Outsider'.
