Although Ronald Hawkins and Candace Simms knew that Ruby was different from an early age, they were not prepared for Robbie's violent act, a crime that shocked the nation. Daniel White always thought that her brother Richard was just a crook who told crazy stories. He was saying that one of his friends had died... and then entered that person in the street. He was saying he stole a gas station... but she did not see the news in the news. Daniel learned not to believe most of her long brother's tales.
